Childhood painted large. Vintage girls swing and cuddle their dogs in soft Victorian watercolours, while painterly portraits pose little ladies in powder-blue dresses with kittens, rabbits and loyal shepherds. A whimsical series dreams up blonde cherubs drifting among swans, doves and roses; sleeping baby angels rest on black-and-white flowers or under rose-pink wings; and pastel toddlers hold single roses over old Carte Postale backgrounds.
